LM FORM is a design-led studio developing functional apparel and soft-structure systems from concept through production.

Founded by Lucas Miller, a sportswear designer at London College of Fashion, LM FORM draws on experience across military, performance, and contemporary luxury contexts. The brand combines technical garment construction, material experimentation, and systems-based design thinking to develop performance-oriented apparel.

END-TO-END PATTERN DRAFTING/GRADING

Physical or digital pattern development in Clo3D: original drafts and 1-to-1 rub-offs, graded size ranges, fabric-yield marker optimization, and iterative fit/mobility troubleshooting on live and digital forms. Pattern digitization using NScan Accumark and Lectra/Modaris.

PHYSICS-BASED GARMENT VISUALIZATION

Drape, stress-map, and strain simulations on custom or ASTM/ISO standard avatars in Clo3D + Blender, validating performance in run, sit, and stretch scenarios. Garment renders with scenes/lighting for line sheet presentations and e-commerce.

SAMPLE ITERATION + DEVELOPMENT

Prototyping and size-set builds across wovens and knits: cut, sew, and finish using lockstitch, coverstitch, overlock/babylock, flatlock, bartack/buttonhole, blindstitch, laser cutter, ultrasonic welder, and speciality elastic sewing machines.

COMPREHENSIVE TECH PACKS AND PLM

Factory ready vector flats in Adobe Illustrator. BOMs, colorways, toleranced spec sheets, construction details, graphics, QA checkpoints, etc, all linked to digital sample-tracking and season/style libraries for seamless factory hand-off and lifecycle management.

FABRIC/TRIM SOURCING AND PROTOTYPING

Material/print development. Synthetic, natural, and protein-based fabric recommendations + laminate/coating. Realistic fabric emulation for digital assets, prototyping, and manufacturing.
